About the resort

The fireplace lounge is where all the cold weather get-togethers and dinners are usually held.

Room capacity:

up to 80 people - party table can be covered, no space for band and dancing. Activities and band can be organised in adjacent seminar room.

A massive stone fireplace adds to the romance. In addition to the fireplace room, we have also planned a fully equipped conference room that can be converted into a dance hall or a social room. The second floor of the holiday home has been converted into comfortable bedrooms.

400m2  the holiday home (15 places in total):

• 5 double twin rooms, each with a shower and a toilet
• 1 double room with shower and toilet in the room
• 1 triple room (double + twin bed), with shower and toilet in the room.
• Fireplace room with up to eighty seats
• Party/seminar room with up to fifty seats and presentation equipment.

Rental period: from 16.00 until 12.00 the next day. Changes to the rental period can be made by prior arrangement.

It is a pure form of a guest house, not suitable for parties or training courses, as there are no common areas. The building has a total of seven comfortable rooms and 15 beds.

A 200 m2 guest house offers (15 beds in total):

• 6 double twin rooms with shower and toilet in each room
• 1 triple room (double + twin bed),  shower and toilet

The sauna house is located at the western end of our complex and was the second building we started to build after the holiday house. It is a hand-hewn log building with a shingle roof. The logs are impregnated with natural pine tar, which adds a natural touch to your entire gathering.

NOTE: The sauna house is not rented separately, but only together with the holiday house or the rest of the complex.

• A 50m2 sauna house offers (total of 8 accommodation places):
• Six-seater wood-fired sauna
• Front room with up to 15 seats
• 3 showers and 2 toilets
• 8 sleeping places on the second floor of the sauna house (two four-bed rooms).
• Sauna towels
• Fireplace
• Heated hot tub for 6 people at a time (only during the warm season).

NB: The hot tub is not in use or heated during the period 15.10-30.04.

For big summer events, we have specially created a large summer lawn so that rain and wind don't interfere with the event. The building is covered on four sides with walls and can seat up to 120 people. The terrace area is fully covered with lighting and there are electrical outlets in every corner.  The shelter is furnished with benches of different sizes and rectangular tables. Our summer terrace has become very popular for weddings and summer days.

The summer terrace is also a great place to hold seminars. Põhjala Resort  away from noisy roads and our atmosphere is very quiet. We can also provide a projector, screen and whiteboard in the room.

NOTE: The summer terrace is not rented separately but is included in the rental of the whole complex.

We have tried to build Põhjala Resort using materials and techniques as close to nature as possible. All our buildings are hand hewn from round logs or ore. It has always been our aim that a farm complex consisting of several buildings should form a coherent whole. In the courtyard you will find a number of pleasant seating areas, a football and volleyball pitch and a basketball court with a single basket.

For the children we have created a play area with a sandpit and swings. We have plenty of space for social games and camping.

Outdoor area offers:

• Football and volleyball pitch, basketball basket (1pc), darts game.
• Swings and sandpit for children
• Plenty of seating (for around 100 people, with the possibility of additional tables for up to 120).
• 25m2 modern greenhouse e.g. for small workshops, serving food or a bar.
• Unlimited camping space
• Parking in front of the holiday house, plus a lawn for up to 100 cars.

Regular period rental prices (except June, July, August):

• Rent of the whole complex (holiday house, sauna house, guest house): 775€+km.
• Põhjala resort holiday house + sauna house rental: 650€+km.

May, September, December rental prices:

• From R to L and from L to P we rent out only the whole complex at once (holiday house, sauna house, guest house, fencing house, yard area), rental price: 1000€+km.
• From P to N we also rent out a separate holiday house + sauna house, rental price: 650€+km, rental price of the whole complex from P to N 775€+km.

*Booking fee to confirm dates: 500€+km (non-refundable).

June-July-August rental rates (only the whole complex is rented out at once):

• For summer months R-L and L-P the whole complex (holiday house, sauna house, guest house, fenced house, yard area) rental price: 2000€+km.
• Summer months P-N rental price for the whole complex (holiday house, sauna house, guest house, fence house, yard area): 1200€+km.

1. Rental period from 16:00 until 12:00 the next day.

2. Choose the music and bands you can Nordic Resort  can be heard outside until 23.00. Afterwards, the music can continue indoors with closed doors and windows.

3. The prices shown are valid for up to 50 people. For larger events, please ask for a separate quote.

4. The booking is guaranteed upon receipt of the booking fee. 100% must be paid for each event before it starts. The booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

5. Sauna use lasts for 4 hours at a time of your choice.

6. From 15 October to 30 April, the hot tub will not be heated and will not be offered as a service.

7. The rental of the holiday home is based on a contract, which is filled in on the spot before the start of each event.

8. The Nordic Resort does not organise events where the majority of people are under 25 years of age. For security reasons, we do not cater for school parties or birthday parties for young people.

9. Fireworks are allowed until 23.00. However, please be aware that we are in a natural environment and please refrain from fireworks if possible.

10. Check-in is from 16.00 and check-out is no later than 12.00. Other rooms in the complex can be used at other times by prior arrangement.

11. Consumption of own beverages and meals is prohibited on the premises of the Nordic Resort.
